THE UMAREX BERETTA M9A3 FULL AUTO AIR PISTOL
Everything about this Umarex Beretta M9A3 air pistol screams range time! This officially licensed handgun from Umarex Airguns is a stunning replica of Beretta’s 9mm powder burner handgun; however, it is equipped with a special mode. With a simple flip of the switch on the right side of the handguard, this Beretta goes full-auto! Whether using the happy switch or doing handgun drills, you’ll enjoy the realism of the M9A3, right from its unique FDE coloring and authentic grip and feel, down to its realistic blowback action slide. Its full-size magazine gives you the ability to practice reloads, and it holds a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge, along with 18 BBs. Its authentic safety makes this an air pistol for both left- and right-handed shooters, and the clean, single, or double-action trigger, functions just like the powder burner. For fun full automatic BB gun action there’s nothing like the Beretta M9A3 air pistol. Beretta Trademarks licensed by Beretta.
Umarex’s reproduction of the Beretta M9A3 is one of the company’s several officially approved replica air pistols. It is a CO2-powered, semi-automatic BB pistol with complete blowback functionality, similar to many of the company’s products, and it makes an excellent training substitute for the firearm version. This version, however, has a small extra perk — a full-auto setting — in contrast to the powder-burner.
Yes, she is good-looking, but she is also a handful. Slimming down the grip was one of the changes Beretta made for the 92 that would eventually become the M9A3 model. For many handgun shooters, this one modification made a significant difference. Umarex USA having just three years earlier released the Model 92 A1 in both. The word “introduced” may not be appropriate. Unleashed might be a better choice. To put it mildly, our admirers loved the full-auto setting that came standard on the vintage Model 92. The M9A3 then followed closely on the footsteps of the Model 92. This improved version had the same ergonomics and functionality as the Model 92, but it now had the slimmer grip and sticky surface of the Beretta M9A3 gun. It also included a threaded muzzle (14mm left hand threads). The M9A3 was a massive success if the Model 92 A1 was a winner.
The smaller grip, Desert Tan finish, and interesting switch on the right side of the slide were all well-liked by customers. To use terminology from the early 2000s, it was the bomb.
Additionally, the superb Beretta pew pew was produced in a 6mm variant by our Elite Force Airsoft comrades. However, an airgun shooter may expect to find fully functional controls, full size drop free magazines, blowback action, and equivalent weight to that of the firearm, with either of these outstanding replicas. Both of these versions even feature a field strip like a handgun. I find myself captivated to this life-size copy for some reason. Perhaps it’s the traditional Italian nice looks, or perhaps I just enjoy full-sized pistols. Whatever it is, the Umarex M9A3 satisfies the desire for a full-sized fun machine without a grip the size of a baseball bat barrel.
